The large surface area with the structural similarities , extracellular matrix components, the ability to deliver bioactive signals, the flexibility of using broad range of polymers, and the cost-effective method of fabrication makes Nano fibres a suitable scaffold for tissue engineering. Nano fibre scaffolds play a major role in cell Signalling alignment, extracellular matrix orientation, and thereby in imparting mechanical integrity to the regenerating tissue.
